If you've read my review of Windsor Hotel, you know that there are three things I look for in a hotel when I'm meeting my lover to fuck in the afternoon: 1. To avoid getting caught by my significant other, it has to be in an out of the way location; 2. It has to be inexpensive because, face it, who has an extra $1000 each month to spend on hotels with your secret lover; and 3. It has to be clean. For this review, I've decided to add a fourth criteria: comfort. Looking for these four things, I found an amazing Ramada in Long Island City. Yes, Manhattan snobs, you do have to take the 7 train a few stops and walk about 4 blocks to get to this Ramada, but no one you know will ever see you here.
The value is unbeatable - $100 per night plus tax. What I truly love about this Ramada is that the "on the edge of town" feel and "complete lack of character" lobby belie a truly first-class hotel room that you would normally find at a W Hotel in mid-town Manhattan. The bed even has down pillows and comforter. For fuck purposes, the bed is exceptionally good. There's even porn on the flat screen tv (for a fee, of course). My lover and I fucked on the bed, on the edge of the bed, against the headboard, on the chair, and against the flat screen tv (is that sacrilegious?). I highly recommend this Ramada for an afternoon fuck, because it's one of the best deals in town and your significant other will not catch you here.
