The Library Hotel is a boutique hotel located in midtown Manhattan. Boutique hotels abound in NYC, but the Library Hotel is set apart from the others with an innovative twist on the library theme - each room represents a different Dewey Decimal classification. Despite its modern decor, the Library Hotel in a throwback to the pre-internet library system. What's so romantic about this theme, you might ask? Well, any high-end hotel in NYC can provide a bed and large LCD screen featuring pay-per-porn, but each floor of the Library Hotel brings to life one of the ten major categories of the Dewey Decimal System: Social Sciences, Literature, Languages, History, Math & Science, General Knowledge, Technology, Philosophy, the Arts and Religion. For the geek in me, it's an intellectually stimulating take on the standard high-end hotel.
