• Agent Provocateur is about as far from the cloying faux-Britishness of Victoria's Secret as you can get. If you're looking for classical music and peach-scented glitter lotion, try the mall. If you like a bit of edge, however, Agent Provocateur-with its sexy, punk-haired sales girls clad in beauticians' uniforms unbuttoned down to there and throbbing electroclash soundtrack-is the place for you. From the stylishly bizarre and sexy mannequins in the window, to the edgy, silver and pink opulence of the store's interior, Agent Provocateur is a shopping experience fashion-forward bad girls can't afford to miss.
  
  Agent Provocateur lingerie is a treat for both body and mind, as it achieves a rare balance between unabashed raunchiness and actual wit. Nearly every item displayed on the store's racks coyly alludes to a different sexy icon: one bra channels the spirit of Bettie Page; another, Marilyn Monroe.
  
  Great design aside, what's especially refreshing about Agent Provocateur is it doesn't labor under the misconception that women's breasts come in one size only: small. In fact, at Agent Provocateur you're almost sure to find something that fits: The store carries most designs in sizes 32 to 38, A through F. If you're on a budget, however, be warned; such loveliness doesn't come cheap. Bras range from $68 for the Leila Peep Bra to $215 for a skimpy, slinky gold-brocade number. Corsets, including a pink-and-turquoise-dotted Swiss number that would have looked right at home on a Vivienne Westwood runway, start at $170. $45 will buy you a pair of sweet pastel-hued silk panties with wide cream-colored ribbons at the hip for easy tying and untying. Stockings are a more affordable $15 to $45; Agent Provocateur carries a great line of fishnets, both thigh-high and regular, in a variety of colors.Even if you're looking for accessories or a gift, Agent Provocateur has you covered. I was seduced by a black-leather riding crop adorned with a Swarovski crystal-studded handle ($225), beckoning seductively from within its display case. I also lingered over two items that could comprise an outfit in themselves at some erotic events: sequin-covered pasties ($45) and a chunky crystal cuff ($95). My must-have item, however, was the Agent Provocateur strip poker deck ($55), a pack of oversized playing cards, nestled in a pink satin box, each bearing a decadent image. Who could keep a poker face, dealt a hand like this?
