• Morimoto is terrific for a date, plain and simple. The food is solid, but the space is what really impresses. There is no question one can find better sushi and other Japanese treats at other restaurants in the city, and the prices are steep; but, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is so exquisite, you can't help but feel like it's worth ever cent, or, in this case, every 100 dollars. The soft-shell crab roll is indeed a standout, as is the crispy shrimp tempura, although this sexpert would advise ignoring the dipping sauce which he found an unfortunate pairing. ToDreamIt How can you use an orgasm rating scale and yet fail to mention what awaits visitors to Morimoto's rest rooms?? All I want to say here is that my table mates couldn't understand why I was gone for so long, but I assure you I returned to the table with a BIG smile on my face!
