• Five Points touts itself as an informal restaurant with a high-end menu. It delivers all this and more. The dining room is beautiful with a center display of statuesque vases brimming with branches of leaves. There are strategically placed skylights that gently illuminate tables in the back dining area. The interior is both romantic and minimal. The food is equally great. The menu features rustic and simple dining with fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables and one of the best burgers in town. The wine menu is extensive, and the knowledgeable staff is always on hand to help with the right pairings. The front of the restaurant features a long bar, the perfect place to wait for your date. If you go on a weekend, make a reservation. Five Points has been serving it's happy clientele since 1999, and it's still considered one of the best date restaurants in NYC. A perfect complement to a romantic brunch at Five Points would be a trip to Great Jones Spa just a few doors away.

frogger The brunch here is terrific. Definitely make a reservation though. I hate all these great bunch places in the city with 2 hour waits that don't take reservations for brunch. Cookshop at least takes one, and it's usually necessary!
