• I highly recommend Fig & Olive for a date. No matter which of the three locations you choose, Fig & Olive is a hip restaurant without attitude. Start with cocktails at the bar. The meatpacking location has a long bar in a more spacious space; the Lexington Avenue location is more intimate. Each one offers a great wine selection. The theme of Fig & Olive is Mediterranean with a focus on olive oil. After being seated, you're given three delicious olive oils to taste with bread. If you prefer tapas, choose three crostinis (different toppings on flat bread), the Tuscan salad, and a bottle of wine. This is the epitome of romantic dining. Even if you get an entree, the portions are just right, so you will not feel too stuffed to enjoy the rest of the date. Fig & Olive is a great first date restaurant that will no doubt lead to a second date; it's also a great place for the relationship-committed to keep the romantic embers burning.

Anthony This spaces are beautiful, the food is solid, and it's true that women dig it, but the neighborhoods the restaurants are in are just not for me.
