• DBGB is yet another overpriced hamburger joint brought to us by the man who introduced New York City to the $30 hamburger, Daniel Boulud. The name is a spin off of the legendary Rock and Roll club, CBGBs, which used to be open down the block. The area is, of course, a far cry from its former grit, and DBGB is clearly representative of that transformation.
  
  Although I don't see the NYC rock scene congregating there, DBGB is certainly a sexy restaurant aesthetically. The problem is the menu. The burgers are delicious, but it is difficult to stomach the price. The slightly less pricey sausage offerings are interesting, but not exactly what I think of when considering what to order on a hot date.
  
  DBGB is really a judgment call. The space is phenomenal, but do you want to eat gourmet tailgate fare when aiming for romance?

Anthony Not sure I agree with the "2" given this place by the writer. I find it's especially good for dates with girls from out of town. And c'mon, it's NYC, $30 hamburgers are what made this town great! :-P
