- I wished I lived in Brooklyn because, if I did, I would eat at Chance every day. Ok, maybe not every day, but, I would be dining at Chance every weekend for sure. Its small interior belies a very romantic and beautifully decorated dining room with dim red lighting; sidewalk seating is available, if you prefer the outdoors. Chance can get crowded; even on a Sunday night, the restaurant is fairly full. If you have to wait for a table, take a seat at the bar, and enjoy some cocktails from their extensive menu. The bartender is very handsome and friendly which makes the wait worth it. Dining is available at the bar, if you want to combine your cocktails with food. On a recent visit, a couple seated at the bar got a little friendly with each other; but, how could they not? The atmosphere is relaxed and romantic, perfect for public displays of affection. Oh, and the food is delicious.
