• This tiny restaurant on the corner of Irving Place and 17th Street is ideal for spontaneous romantic lunches and planned well-in-advance dinners. The menu consists of small, savory dishes which the diners are encouraged to share in tapas-style dining. The space is tiny, and, unfortunately, Casa Mano follows the lower Manhattan trend of piling patrons on top of their neighbors which keeps the place one small step away from romantic perfection. The waitstaff does their job to kill the mood too. However, the space is beautiful and all the food is exquisite which combined, almost pulls Casa Mano to the top of the Erotic New York scale. Go at odd times (3pm for lunch or 10pm for dinner) for the best chance at seating without a reservation.
