It's hard to find a steakhouse that's also romantic. Most steakhouses are all about the food and not about the ambiance. BLT Prime is both a steakhouse and a great date restaurant. The space is modern, with a sweeping ceiling and nice bar area by the floor-to-ceiling window in the front. Plan to meet your date there and have her/his favorite cocktail ready. The restaurant has two floors. The first floor is a little more festive, but the second floor, despite being more quiet, is slightly more romantic. My date and our friends, also a couple, chose to sit upstairs at a spacious semi-circular booth. There was so much room at the table that my date and I engaged in some "under the table" play without raising suspicion. When it comes to ordering, remember to pace yourself; if you intend to engage in more sex-play back home. The portions are huge! Guaranteed you'll want to go to sleep immediately if you eat a 20 oz. piece of meat. And you'll be starting with BLT's freshly baked, delicious bread and chicken liver spread, so order accordingly. You can fill up on that alone. If sex can wait until the next morning, then go ahead and order the carnivore's delights. Otherwise, you might want to get two seafood platters and a few sides. My date and I are food lovers, so it's impossible for us to go to a steakhouse and order fish; we succumbed to the porterhouse.
