Who doesn't like going to a comic book store? In fact, if you really think about it, comic books gave us, as kids, our first exposure to erotica. Superman's bulging biceps, Electra's beautiful bosoms, even the cute, but sexy, Veronica, in the Archie comics, all helped to create an erotic wonder world for us as kids without crossing the line into porn. Having said that though, now, as an adult, I seek the porn in comic books, and, with that in mind, I went to Cosmic Comics.
Some comic book stores feel a little seedy and unkempt, but Cosmic Comics is organized and has a great assortment of everything one should find in a comic book store - figurines, toys, books, old and new edition comic books, t-shirts - and a friendly staff Also, after climbing the stairs to the second floor, some great treats await you at the door - gummy bears and big round pieces of gumballs in all colors for only 25 cents. Feels like being a kid again. Childhood innocence is quickly shed as you start to walk around the store. The store is actually bigger than I expected and organized by name of the comic books. Because I went looking for erotica, I noticed a small section in the back that had some racier content. I didn't see a specific section devoted to erotica, but the store had several offerings on various shelves which made browsing very fun. The salesperson was very helpful without being too pushy. If you're looking for a larger selection of comic book erotica, you might want to try the other stores listed under the Lustful Lit section, but there was enough for me here to peruse and purchase.
