What makes them naughty? Really? And if they hadn't been labeled as such - for thousands of years - would we be as interested in them? (um...I think I would be...).

Self-consciousness and self-loathing are among the seeds of repression. For, if people feel uncomfortable in their own skin, they will be more likely to condemn others for showing theirs. And, they will imbue the exhibitionism with negativity...Same thing with sexual freedom.

I see it as a Colossal lie - that our very own bodies are intrinsically BAD - "sinful". And, that they somehow offend The Creative Force that made them. This makes absolutely no sense!! Here we are in these miraculous machines of Flesh, Bone, etc. that move through the impulses of electricity. Elec-fucking-tricity!! That's awesome! And our capacity for imagination! Our capacity for sensation! For expression!! For PLEASURE!

I feel like I'm being a Flesh Evangelist here. But, through the flesh, truly - there are so many paths to other states of consciousness. I won't say "higher" states. I won't presume a hierarchy. "Other" is the right word for my purposes. The point is to exist beyond the mundane and the quotidian.

...To Exist Beyond the Mundane and the Quotidian!! I had to repeat that, because that is the key for me. We are such Miraculous Machines!

Erotica versus Pornography...hmmm...That was my departure point, wasn't it? Without our miraculous machines (both human and otherwise - hehe), we would have neither. And, I would assert that both have their place. Where is the distinction? Legally, it is about the exhibiting of genitalia versus not...But, my goodness - is the pussy not one of the most amazing pieces of crazy sculpture you've ever seen? And well - the penis is just so pretty - what a structure - architecture...and the way it responds to various stimuli - that's fucking cool, man! How is that not art?

But I digress - apart from the genitalia issue is that of the sexual act. Erotica is subtler, I guess. Less obvious, perhaps. But no less arousing and sometimes even more so. Therefore, since both Erotica and Pornography shake up (and we can only
hope, may one day wake up) "polite society" - I say - RIGHT ON!!
