The World Famous Pontani Sisters offer a go-go dance class featuring "Burlesque Sass, Go Go Gold, and the Pontani Punch" to teach you how to be a sexy starlet just like them. Hip downtown chicks of assorted ages, races, and body types (many boasting tattoos in similar style of the Pontani Sisters' body art), plus a few really cool guys, crowd various city dance studios monthly for the hour-long energy fest, which begins with a basic warm-up and rapidly proceeds into a fun, frenetic go-go fest featuring the Pony, the Twist, cheerleader moves, wild abandon, and some really good uses for those jazz hands we all secretly love. All-new signature moves such as "The Courtney Cox" and "The Jenny Beals" (think Flashdance) are revealed, and the Sisters teach a new routine every time, based on dances they perform in their live show.
Be a dancer or just look like one-the choreographed routine is challenging enough for those with dance or aerobic experience, uncomplicated enough for first-timers, and fast enough to qualify as a real workout. Completely unintimidating, Go Go Robics is just sheer good fun that empowers you to shake your booty. By the time those girls finished with us, the entire room was breathless, sweaty, and genuinely smiling.
